This policy explains what we do with your personal data. The controller is LUKE HALFORD CONSULTING FZE LLC, trading as NamedFirst, of GF SPC Business Center, Sharjah Book Authority, Sharjah, UAE ("NamedFirst", "we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@named-first.com.
When you run a check we collect your salon name, town or area, your email address, and the services you select. When you buy, our payment provider collects your name, email and payment details. We also collect the public information about your salon that the AI assistants use to answer, which is what our scan measures, and basic technical data such as your approximate country, used to show prices in your currency and to prevent abuse.
We use your details to run your scan and deliver your report, and to take payment and provide any subscription you buy: this is to perform our contract with you. We send you follow-up email about your results and our services on the basis of our legitimate interest in reaching salon owners who asked for a check, and you can opt out at any time. Where the law requires consent for marketing, we rely on the consent you give. We keep records of payments to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We use trusted providers to run the service: Stripe for payments, Resend for email delivery, Cloudflare for hosting and security, and Google for place lookup and geocoding. To produce your report we send the buying questions to the major AI assistants, including those operated by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Perplexity; these are asked as an ordinary logged-out user would ask and are about your salon and area, not about you personally. We do not sell your personal data.
We and our providers operate internationally, so your data may be processed outside your country, including in the UK, the EU and the US. Where required we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
We keep your scan and contact details for as long as needed to provide the service and follow up, and payment records for as long as the law requires. If you ask us to delete your data we will, unless we must keep some of it for legal reasons.
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop marketing email at any time, either through the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us. If you are in the UK or EU you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Marketing emails carry a one-click unsubscribe, and we honour it. Our site uses only what it needs to work, such as a security check on our forms and, if you arrive with a gift code, a note stored in your browser so the code is remembered. We do not run advertising trackers.
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
